Father dies in Clarendon fire, daughter shot

Thirty-seven year-old Quanza Pryce is dead and his six year-old daughter has been hospitalised after gunmen invaded their home on the outskirts of  May Pen in Clarendon on Friday morning.

About 5am, residents heard explosions and then saw Mr. Pryce’s house on John’s Lane, Rectory Road, on fire.

The police and fire brigade were called, but the building was destroyed by the time they arrived.

Mr. Pryce’s burnt remains were discovered among the rubble. His daughter escaped the flames, but it was discovered that she had been shot
