The three policemen who were arrested in connection with the robbery and abduction of a motorist in Denham Town, Kingston 14 last week,were charged on Saturday following an identification parade.
The charges are illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition; robbery with aggravation; kidnapping; assault occasioning actual bodily harm; larceny of motor vehicle and conspiracy.
Their identifies have been withheld as they are due to face another ID parade.
It’s alleged, that early Monday the policemen stopped a motorist and after searching and robbing him, placed him in the trunk of his vehicle.
He however managed to free himself and was rescued by a police patrol team along Darling Street.
