Tough-talking deejay Ryme Minista made good on his Sumfest debut.

The highly touted deejay who hails from Glendevon in Montego Bay, delivered a very powerful performance on Dancehall Night at the recently concluded music festival.

Performing songs from his ever-growing catalogue of street anthems such as Kill & Get Weh, One Umbrella, Ganja Smoke, Killers & Killers, Black Eye Sprat and Psycho Bell, he had the audience in a frenzy.

Ryme Minista said his performance proves that he is not a flash in the pan artiste. “This performance show all di people who think Ryme Minista is just a likkle west artiste that my career bigger than that. Mi prove mi self at Sumfest, everybody see that mi ready fi di big stage.”

Such was the potency of his performance that he received two encores. “Every song mi sing get the crowd wild, mi get some of di biggest forwards fi di night. Is like the people couldn’t get enough a mi, dem neva wah mi leave di stage,” said Ryme Minista.

Ryme Minista’s manager, Fox, believes that his charge is ready to ascend to dancehall stardom.

“Without a doubt, Ryme Minista is ready for the big times. He’s got the sound and the right attitude and he is going to go all the way to the top of the game.”

Ryme Minista is currently promoting a brand new single called Bounce featuring Gage.

“This song is hot summer song fi all di girls, it a go be one of di biggest songs fi di summer,” he said.
