Remittances up for the first 6 months

The Bank of  Jamaica has released data showing more than US$1 billion  in remittance inflows during the first 6 months of  this year.  The inflow was 3.4%  higher than a year ago. It was also the highest level remittance inflow has been for the first six months of  any year. In June, the inflow was more than US$168 million.
