Honduras, who silenced the famed Azteca with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over hosts Mexico, soared to 10 points, followed by Mexico on eight, Panama on seven, and Jamaica still at the bottom on three points. Three rounds of game remain, with the top three teams earning automatic berths to the FIFA World Cup Finals in Brazil next summer, and the fourth-placed team entering a home-and-away play-off series against the winner of the Oceania region for another shot at Brazil. )
