After a major operation to clear out drug dealers, a Brazilian police force is now planning to set up the first permanent police station in one of Rio’s largest slums.
It’s part of a move to restore control in some of the city’s most dangerous areas, ahead of next year’s World Cup and the Olympics in 2016.
