KINGSTON, Jamaica –Caribbean hurdlers dominated the first semi final in the 400m hurdles with Trinidad’s Jehue Gordon winning in 48.10 and Puerto Rico’s Javier Culson (48.42)in second Jamaica’s Isa Phillips, hurdling a season’s best 49.28, finished fifth while top seeded Bershawn Jackson of the US pulled up early and did not finish.Mamadou Kasse Hanne of Senegal was third (48.69) and Cornel Fredericks of Russian fourth (48.85), The first two automatically qualify for the final.
