Elderly woman dies in crash

MYRTLE George, a 79 year-old resident of Duhaney Pen in Morant Bay, St Thomas died as a result of injuries she received after being hit by a car in her community Wednesday evening.The Morant Bay police reported that about 10:00 pm, George was allegedly attempting to cross the roadway when she was hit by a Honda Accord motor car.She was taken to hospital by the police but later died.
