Colgate-Palmolive gives Jamaica new mobile dental clinicThursday, July 11, 2013

The occasion was the recently held Jamaica Dental Convention 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay, St James.Health Minister Dr Fenton Ferguson (fourth right) welcomed the donation and commended Colgate for its unwavering support of dental health education and treatment in Jamaica for over 50 years. The Colgate mobile dental clinic, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health’s dental auxiliary team, provides free dental treatment to students across the island.Sharing in the occasion are (from left) Eduardo Guerrero, general manager, Colgate-Palmolive Caricom; Dr Irving McKenzie, director of dental services in the health ministry; Dr Jeffrey Meeks, president of the Jamaica Dental Association; Natalie Afflick, dental hygienist; Glen Christian, chairman of Kirk Distributors Ltd, the local distributor of Colgate brand; and Dr Suzan Lawrence-Beckford, chairperson of Jamaica Dental Convention 2013.
