Jose Chapur, President of Palace Resorts, has sought to assure Tourism Minister Dr Wykeham McNeil that the renovation and expansion of the former Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios are on target.
Mexico based Palace Resorts acquired the property in July. It is carrying out a US$40 million renovation and will the property is scheduled to be reopened in March as Moon Palace Jamaica Grande.
This is the first investment by Palace Resorts outside of Mexico.
