Fast-rising reggae act Yung JR has been on the move. He recently made his debut at the famed Rebel Salute stageshow, where he was well received by the audience. The experience was an overwhelming one for the artiste.
“As a young entertainer, the response I received from the audience was great. It’s good to know that my music is being positively received by the masses,” he said.
Shortly after that performance, Yung JR left the island to embark on a tour of the US West Coast.
“He’s now in the US for a tour which finishes on February 8 and will be back to release his debut EP, Start The Movement,” said Adoney Reid of his management team.
The artistes said the tour has been going well. “I’m very happy with the crowd response at the shows so far. Reggae music is one of the most loved worldwide, so the people really seem to be connecting.”
Songs such as Raggamuffin and General are featured on the EP and Yung JR said fans will be thoroughly satisfied with the release.
“We’ve put a lot of work into creating the EP, and I’m confident that it will be welcomed by reggae music lovers worldwide,” he said.
