KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, January 29 with an increase in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $90.29 and $91.95 per litre respectively, up 61 cents each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $90.19 per litre following an increase of 73 cents, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by 70 cents, and will be sold for $100.34 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil increased in price by 26 cents and will be sold for $97.12 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $37.12 per litre, up 13 cents and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $42.84 per litre after a decrease of 24 cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
