Ninja man, Bogdanovich on Caribbean tour

Ninja Man Joseph Bogdanovich

Ninja Man and Joseph Bogdanovich, CEO of Downsound Records, departed the island last Monday to Nassau, The Bahamas, on a small Caribbean tour, a reality that the veteran deejay might have thought he’d never experience a few years ago.

Ninja Man, because of his legal issues, is without a passport. However, the Jamaican justice system has allowed Ninja Man to have possession of his passport, which was in the hands of the courts for several months.

This is another victory in the rejuvenated career of the tough-talking deejay, born Desmond Ballentine, as he has seen an increase in public attention surrounding his career and music since joining forces with the Kingston-based record label a few years ago.

With Bogdanovich and his legal team attending to his legal battles, as well as his music’s economical aspirations, Ninja Man can then concentrate fully on his music without the distraction and negative headlines that has clouded his career over the years.

Songs like Jamaica Town, Ninja Mi Ninja and Dweet, which features Specialist, have brought Ninja Man into the spotlight as they continue to climb and top music charts both locally and internationally.

Because of this, Ninja Man will perform on Dancehall Night at this year’s Reggae Sumfest. There is also a major European tour being organised for Ninja Man between Bogdanovich, Contractor Music Marketing and a prominent Polish booking agent.
