WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Torneal Haughton, also called Malta, the man who has been at the top of Westmoreland police’s most wanted list was shot and killed during a police operation Tuesday, a police source has revealed.The police say Haughton was the leader of the feared Alma Gang which has been responsible for most of the murders recorded in the Westmoreland police division in recent years.Three members of the gang were shot and killed during a shoot-out with Operation Resilience last week.More information later.Torneal Haughton (PHOTO: jcf.gov.jm)
