Waterford resident missing

Twenty-year-old Kevonn Douglas of Belleview Road, Waterford in St Catherine, has been missing since Saturday, August 23.

He is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 163 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall.

Reports from the Waterford police are that about 10:30 a.m., Douglas was last seen at home wearing a red merino, brown shorts and a pair of black slippers. He has not been seen or heard from since. All subsequent efforts made to contact him have so far proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Kevonn Douglas is being asked to contact the Waterford police at 988-1763, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.

St mary resident arrested for unlawfully accessing bank accounts

A St Mary resident was hauled before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court recently after he facilitated several unauthorised banking transactions.

Charged with simple larceny and unauthorised access to computer data is 32-year-old Daemian Ferguson, who was ordered fingerprinted.

The Crown alleges that between February 20 and March 24, 2014, Ferguson gained unlawful access to bank accounts shared by the father and son complainants and conducted various transactions at Corporate Area-automated banking machines and business places to the tune of $810,098.11.

As a result of his actions, Ferguson was arrested on May 13.

He is to return to court on July 10 when the matter will be mentioned.

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Fifty-one-year-old Andrew Shelton, a salesman of Rohampton Circle, Kingston 19, has been missing since Sunday, July 14.Shelton is of brown complexion, medium build and is about 5-feet-10-inches tall.The Constant Spring Police report that Shelton was last seen at home. His mode of dress at the time he went missing is unknown.Anyone knowing Shelton’s whereabouts is being asked to contact the Constant Spring Police at 924-1421, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
