Songwriter and reggae artiste Tydal has released a number of tracks in an effort to capitalise on the momentum following the release of his EP, The Journey of a Young Warrior, earlier this year.

Among his latest singles are Babylon Burning, Street Life, Have You Lost Somebody and Draw di Line.

Babylon Burning was produced by Jeffrey Thompson for Tee & Ja Records; Street Life is a Sweat Boxx production; Have You Lost Somebody was produced by Donovan Germain for Penthouse, and Draw di Line was produced by Master One Productions.

Since the release of the EP, Tydal has been on a musical surge. He embarked on a promo tour stateside to build on his emerging fan base. He recently performed at LIME Skool Aid event in St Catherine.

Next week, he goes on another promo run of the United States.

“This trip is mainly promotional to build my fan base in Florida and Texas. I will be bringing a natural authentic reggae vibe with great energy to attract more fans,” Tydal said.

Up-and-coming entertainer Langi Di Future, is hoping to get his break into the music industry by the end of 2014.

The singer believes his ability to play instruments sets him apart from other up-and-coming acts and hopes the local music industry is ready for a fresh face.

Influenced by the likes of Agent Sasco, Sean Paul, Damian Marley, Ludacris, and Kid Ink, the young artiste says his music is a fusion of reggae, hip hop and pop.

“I just want to capture life as I see it through my lyrics. My music represents what I experience and feel,” he said.

Having raised eyebrows with his performance at the recent staging of Ardenne’s Summer Splash, the young artiste says he is not going to wait around for opportunity to come knocking on his door, but will try to achieve success using his natural talents.

This self-belief has led the artiste to form his own record label called Langi Music LLC, under which he operates as an independent product. He is also hoping to work with other fresh acts as his career progresses.
