Saturday, June 29, 2013 | 4:03 PMKINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Minister Portia Simpson is scheduled to leave the island today (Saturday, June 29) to attend a PetroCaribe Summit in Managua, Nicaragua.She will be accompanied by Dr Carlton Davis, special advisor; Onika Miller, Permanent Secretary OPM and Dr Deborah Hickling, a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said.The Summit will focus primarily on the PetroCaribe Energy Cooperation Agreement and new initiatives to strengthen its operations, the OPM said. The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to the island Saturday evening and in her absence the Robert Pickersgill, Minister of Water, Land, Environment and Climate Change will be in charge of the Government.
