MegaMart turns 15

MEGAMART Wholesale Club, which is this month celebrating its 15th anniversary, has planned a number of activities to say thank you to its customers, staff and well-wishers for their continued support.

“It has been a challenging yet fulfilling road, providing 15 years of quality products and services to the Jamaican people and we look forward to even greater milestones,” said MegaMart CEO Gassan Azan Jr.

For the month of October, customers will be feted at all four locations with the Mega Fiesta — the official MegaMart customer appreciation party — to say thanks. The dates are: Waterloo, Friday, October 3, 10:00 pm to 4:00 am; Mandeville, Friday, October 10, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm; Montego Bay, Saturday, October 18, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm; and Portmore, Friday, October 24, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

“The team is inviting the public to join in their celebrations and has promised the future unveiling of several initiatives to entice the Jamaican consumer,” said MegaMart.

In December 2013, MegaMart made history in Jamaica by becoming the first retail chain to sustain a 24-hour, sevens-days-a-week operation, and on September 1 this year reintroduced the initiative at its Waterloo and Montego Bay branches.

The company has, in the meantime, reiterated its commitment to the Jamaican people, saying it was looking forward to providing continued exceptional service for future generations and beyond.
