KINGSTON, Jamaica – Matthew Samuda, the son of local attorney Milton Samuda, is set to enter representational politics at the Local Government level.
The JLP will, at a party meeting on Sunday, announce the young Samuda as its caretaker for the Mona Division, the party said in a release.
The naming of Samuda as caretaker means that he’ll contest the division for the party in Local Government elections early 2015.
Samuda is said by the party to be a “well-known business executive” and is Vice-President of the JLP youth affiliate Generation 2000 (G2K).
