Wednesday, July 31, 2013 | 3:08 PMST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police have charged the owner of a 36-room hotel in St Catherine after the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) discovered that his business place was illegally hooked up to the company’s grid. The owner of the hotel in the Sydenham area was reportedly caught on the roof during a JPS operation on Tuesday attempting to remove the illegal connection. According to the JPS, the man immediately attempted to offer the crew $500,000 to overlook the matter.
