ST MARY, Jamaica — The Oracabessa Police say that a third person has succumbed to injuries he received in a four-vehicle crash on the Wilderness main road in the parish about 5:00 pm Saturday evening.
As investigators from the Accident Investigation and Reconstructive Unit examine evidence to determine the exact cause of the crash, they have confirmed that four vehicles — a Honda Civic motorcar, a Suzuki Swift motorcar, a Toyota Hiace motor bus and a Leyland motor truck were involved.The evidence indicates that the Honda motorcar collided head-on with the Toyota Hiace motor bus. The motor bus reportedly ran off the road and into a ditch, while the Honda then crashed into the Suzuki Swift, which in turn crashed into the Leyland motor truck, which was parked along the roadway.The fifteen people who were aboard the motor bus sustained injuries.
