KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Police say they have arrested more than 3,000 people under Operation Compliance, the initiative aimed at “rogue motorists” Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gary McKenzie said the motorists were arrested across the island over a three-week period for various road traffic breaches.Operation Compliance was launched in early August as part of an initiative by the Traffic Police to curtail speeding by motorists.Statistics from Police Traffic Department show that to date, a total of 182 road fatalities were recorded across the island since the start of the year.Kimmo MatthewLike our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/jamaicaobserverFollow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/JamaicaObserver
