KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Manchester Police have launched a manhunt for 26-year-old Geovanie Miller, otherwise called ‘Bloodie’, of George Reid district in the perish, who escaped police custody at the Mandeville Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 16.
Miller is of dark complexion, slim build and is about five nine inches tall.
Reports received are that Miller, who is charged with shop breaking and larceny, was admitted in the hospital under police guard, when he managed to free himself from his restraints about 10:35 pm and escaped.
The police are urging Miller to surrender.
They are also appealing to relatives and members of the public not to provide a safe haven for Miller, as it is an offence to harbour a criminal.
Anyone with information that may assist with the recapturing of Miller is being asked to contact the Mandeville Police at 962-2250, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
