KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in prices of diesel and gasoline effective Thursday, December 18 with a reduction in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $98.14 and $99.80 per litre, respectively, down $3.13 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $98.91 per litre after a decrease of $3.29, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $3.61, and will be sold for $105.65 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $3.86 and will be sold for $104.16 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $38.43 per litre, down 71 cents and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $41.91 per litre after a decrease of $2.61.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
